As many of you know . . .
In the somewhat-near-future we will be expanding our playable roleplaying world to include the other regions of Pax currently distant and unknown to the immortals of Desarith.
With added geography comes need for added wildlife--something I've been working on for a long time in the making. However, hello and I thought it would be most interesting to let players have a hand in designing some of the creatures that we'll be seeing, because due to an event that I cannot yet reveal, wildlife and the creatures of the world will become SEVERELY important to the immortals (and humans) in the future.
However, because there are so many different kinds of creatures one could make (and I want to steer the crowd away from creating a billion feline/canine designs), we are going to split the contest up into a number of different sections--
and there is no limit to how many categories you can enter!.

The Categories
≈ Livestock (i.e., any type of food provider)
≈ Rodents (i.e., mouse -> beaver in size)
≈ Ungulates (i.e., horses, deer, buffalo, llamas, hippos)
≈ Reptiles (any size, NO DRAGONS please)
≈ Birds (any size)
≈ Predatory (non-reptiles, any size)
≈ Other
Once again, you may enter as MANY categories as you please!; one person can only come first in a single category, however!

The Prizes
This section always seems to be the favourite.
Because there are so many ways for people to win, I wanted to avoid giving out solely aihns and instead incorporate the bonuses that will also begin to separate the strong immortals from the less experienced ones in the future. Many of you may know of the Paragon Academy but very few of you use it. In future-Pax where using elements will quite literally take their toll on your character if they aren't careful, getting every last bit of damage or protection will be crucial; over-extension or under-guarding are more likely to be fatal.
First Place: winners may receive two ranks in any one bonus and one rank in one other bonus of their choosing.
Second Place: winners may receive one rank in any two bonuses of their choosing.
Third Place: winners may receive one rank in any one bonus of their choosing.
I will message the winners to explain the bonuses they may choose from (NOT ALL ARE LISTED IN THE SHOP CURRENTLY). This is an EXCELLENT way to give your character a head-start into the changeover--which will be explained shortly enough once we've gotten all the significant change details under our belts.
If a player places in more than one category, the prizes must be split between their characters (not all the bonuses can be given to a single character).

It's simple enough and does not require any art (although pictures are cool too, and you can use them to clarify/help explain)!
Use the following guide to help you highlight what you should include:
CREATURE NAME
Appearance
------ Skin type
------ Body shape
------ Average height & weight
------ Colors, markings
------ Eyes, teeth, ears
------ Tail, horns, claws, antlers, spikes
------ Explain how the above is useful to them in their environment
Behavioural/Uses
------ Natural environment
------ Carni/herbi/omnivore, dietary info
------ Aggression level (1-5)
------ Intelligence level (1-4)
------ Harvestable yields (i.e., furs, meat, claws, ivory)
------ Human uses, if any
------ Attack style; how they take down prey
------ Weaknesses, weak points in body
------ Life cycle; life-span, age of maturity
------ Fertility; how many young in a litter? eggs or no?

There is no current end-date because we'd like as many entries as possible and there's still a long way to go before any of these will need to be used. So, take your time, but please let us know before-hand if you do plan on entering! We look forward to your ideas and brilliance!
